Editorial Policy

Last Updated: October 2026

1. Purpose and Scope

sarkarilakshya.com is a career and education information platform that publishes recruitment news, exam updates, study resources, and downloadable materials for job seekers and students in India. This Editorial Policy explains how we decide what to publish, how we verify it, how we keep it current, and how we remain independent of commercial influence. It applies to every article, notification, alert, and downloadable resource published under this domain.

2. What We Publish

Our editorial output falls into three categories.

Recruitment coverage: notifications, eligibility criteria, application procedures, and deadline alerts for government and private-sector vacancies across departments, institutions, and companies.

Exam and education updates: notification of examinations, admit card and result announcements, syllabus updates, and preparation guidance for competitive exams.

Study resources: free PDF downloads, reference materials, and preparation aids offered as supplementary support for candidates. These are labelled as reference materials rather than authoritative syllabi or official documents.

We also operate an optional push notification service, through which readers who subscribe receive alerts about new job posts, exam updates, and free PDF downloads. Every piece we publish must serve a genuine informational need for a job seeker or student. We do not publish content solely to fill space or capture search traffic, and we do not republish unverified forwards for the sake of volume.

3. Accuracy and Verification

Accuracy is the foundation of our credibility. Before publishing any recruitment notification or exam update, our writers confirm the details against the originating source — official departmental circulars, government employment portals, examination authority notices, or verified company career pages. Vacancy counts, eligibility criteria, exam dates, and application deadlines are taken directly from that source rather than from secondary summaries. Where a detail cannot be independently verified, we say so explicitly rather than presenting it as fact. Our full verification methodology is set out in our Fact-Checking Policy.

4. Study Materials and Downloads

Our free PDF downloads and study resources are prepared or compiled as supplementary aids. We aim to ensure that they are accurate and useful, but we do not present them as official syllabi, authorised textbooks, or guaranteed preparation material. Where a resource is compiled from third-party sources, we credit the source where possible and remove any material upon a valid request from the rights holder. We do not distribute leaked question papers, unauthorised answer keys, or copyrighted material without permission.

5. Push Notifications and Alerts

Subscribers to our push notification service receive alerts about new content. We aim to send timely and accurate alerts, but we do not guarantee delivery, and alerts may occasionally lag behind updates to the underlying article. Notification delivery depends on browser settings and third-party service availability, which we do not control. Subscribing is voluntary, and readers can unsubscribe at any time. We do not use push notifications to send advertising unrelated to career and education content.

6. Timeliness and Updates

Job and exam markets move quickly, and outdated information can cost a reader an opportunity. Our editorial team reviews published content on a rolling basis and updates articles when new notification cycles open, when exam dates change, when vacancy listings are revised, or when deadlines pass. Where an article describes a recurring process — such as annual recruitment or seasonal exam cycles — we note the applicable year and refresh the article as new cycles are announced. Articles that are no longer current are either updated or clearly marked as archival.

7. Editorial Independence

Our editorial judgements are made independently of advertisers, recruitment agencies, coaching institutes, and employers. We do not accept payment in exchange for a favourable description of a vacancy or a coaching product, and we do not allow commercial relationships to influence which jobs or exams we cover or how we describe them. Where content is sponsored or produced in partnership with an organisation, it is labelled as such at the top of the article. Our recommendations about application channels, study resources, and preparation strategies reflect our honest assessment of what serves the reader.

8. Transparency and Sourcing

We believe readers should be able to see where our information comes from. Articles link to official application pages, government portals, examination authority sites, and company recruitment pages wherever available, so readers can verify details themselves before applying. We clearly distinguish between information drawn from official sources and general guidance written by our team, and we do not remove caveats to make an opportunity sound more attractive.

9. Corrections Policy

We are human, and errors happen. If a vacancy count is wrong, an exam date is misstated, a PDF contains an error, or a link is broken, we want to know. Readers can report errors through our Contact Us page, and our team will investigate promptly. Confirmed errors are corrected as quickly as possible, and where a correction materially changes an article’s guidance, we add a visible note explaining what was changed. Where a downloadable resource contains a substantive error, we replace the file and note the revision. We do not silently delete errors.

10. User Trust and Safety

Our core job and exam information is free to access. We do not charge job seekers for reading about vacancies or for downloading free PDFs. We urge readers to be cautious of anyone demanding payment in exchange for a government job, an exam paper, an answer key, or guaranteed selection, and we warn against fraudulent application links that impersonate official portals. Where we become aware of a scam circulating in a sector or exam we cover, we flag it in our content.

11. Responsibility to Readers

Every article we publish is written with one question in mind: does this help the reader make a better-informed decision about their career or education? Whether the reader is a graduate checking a recruitment deadline, a candidate preparing for a competitive exam, or a student downloading a reference PDF, our commitment is the same — accurate information, honestly presented, kept up to date.

12. Contact

Questions about this policy, corrections, or editorial suggestions can be sent through our Contact Us page. We also invite you to read our Fact-Checking Policy, Privacy Policy, Cookies Policy, GDPR Policy, and Disclaimer for a full picture of how the site operates.

Every fact we check is a promise kept to our readers — accuracy first, always.
